ZepOr meets the princess.

Well, that’s at least what I am hoping for since the whole team is going to spend the weekend at a beautiful castle somewhere far away in eastern Germany. But aside from my personal quest to find some members of an ancient royal family we are going to use the next days to discuss the future of the whole project.

Many founding members of the orchestra have already left the university where we first met and are now scattered around the globe so that it has become increasingly difficult to organize the team.

This may sound frustrating on first sight but we are fully committed to leave these restraints behind, to continue the cultural exchange we started with our first tour and to extend our network of young musicians.

And of course we’ll make sure that you stay up to date about the lively discussions, important decisions and everything else that happens throughout the weekend!

Folks, we are back with some exciting news!

Some of you might be familiar with the iTunes U section in the Apple iTunes Store. A whole range of major universities are uploading and sharing intresting talks, presentations and even full classes there. And the best part: You can view and subscribe to these offerings for free. Well, this is pretty cool just by itself – but we wanted to make iTunes U even cooler.

To do this and in order to make it even less complicated for you to engage with us we teamed up with Zeppelin University to bring our videos to iTunes U. That’s right: You can now download our short movies and music clips to your very own hard drive. And we think that’s awesome.

So head over to the iTunes Store and get downloading! Oh, and make sure to rate the videos nicely.(Posted by Emanuel)

Woah, it really has been a while since we last spoke. Well, we were super busy working on the second part of our project: the movie! Our filmteam has put a lot of effort in it and we are very excited that we are now ready to show the movie to a small audience for the FIRST TIME EVER! This is so incredible that just thinking about it gets the whole team psyched!

Enough talk - here are the juicy details:

On Saturday, October 30 you are all invited to join the Zeppelin Orchestra for the first and free public movie presentation! Things will start at 8:00pm at Zeppelin University (Seemoser Horn 20, Friedrichshafen). After the movie you will have the chance to see the Zeppelin Orchestra perform live once again! Make sure to click on “attend” on our Facebook-Event-Page.

For the people who supported us financially or with technical equipment we will have a pre-premier on Friday, October 29. Unfortunately this is a closed event.

We hope to see you all this weekend! And make sure to stay tuned to this blog and our Facebook-Page.

Yay - a new little teaser!

You may have already seen the “sneak preview” (and nice little text by Zeppelin Orchestras Emanuel) on FakeGuru.de but here it is anyways: Our new trailer for the documentation!

Filled with impressions from our travels and a very strange situation we had in Budapest, this movie captures perfectly what the tour was about: The excitement you feel when you arrive at an unknown and yet to explore destination!

You can’t always film and be everywhere and at the end it was better to not press the record-button all the time, because as paradox it might sound, when you are filming in order not miss something, you often miss more than when the camera is not rolling.
